.Here are some tips to help you create your Wiki page
Researching
Use the Internet to research your topic, or find relevant images.
Use a digital camera (supplied on request).
Create a draft copy using Word.
DO NOT copy and paste text from web pages. Use your own words
Collect your resources, text, images etc before you start editing your Wiki page.
Do not overload your page with excessive information. Think about what we covered in class last term.
Where ever possible link (hyperlink) to other students Wiki pages.
Editing
Click on "Edit This Page"
Use the WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get) to format your text. This is like Word where you can bold, italic or underline text and give text colour.
To insert an image click the "File" button on the Editor.
Click on the "Upload Files" button
Browse for the file you have saved on the hard drive, click on the image and click "Open".
Double click on the image when it appears in the "Images and Files" dialog box.
Use the "File Properties" box to align the image (left, right, center) or give it a caption.
